Diversification
On January 27, 2015, the Company had signed the MOU, and later on February 5th 2015, also signed the MOA with Shwe Mae La General Industries Co., Ltd (KNU KNLA/PC) at Shwe Mae La General Industries Co., Ltd ’s main office, located at Myawaddy, Kayin State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, in order to jointly develop coal resources and other minerals in the Thivakae area in Myawaddy, Kayin State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar with the approximate area of 180 kilometer squares, or 18,000 acres. The Company accelerated to study the feasibility of the project and funding sources.
On February 19, 2015, the representatives of Thai NDT PCL. (TNDT) and the representative of Min Khit Thit Mining Company Limited (MKT), the business ally, together with the Minister of Electric Power, the Government of Taunggyi, Shan State, had signed the MOA at Tanuggyi, Shan State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar for the 20 MW Coal Power Plant.
On June10, 2015, TNDT POWER Co., Ltd, had been founded as a subsidiary company, with the registered capital of 1,000,000 Baht in order to support the complementary business in the energy field both domestically and internationally which is according to the designated business expansion plan. TNDT held 99.97% of the registered capital as shares.
On August 2, 2015, a Power Purchased Agreement (PPA) had been signed with the Shan State Government under the approval of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. At that time, this was the only power purchasing concession that had been issued by the government to the private company which was the Company’s business ally. This project had been received the concession for a 20 MW Coal Power Plant for the period of 30 years and trading in Thai Baht.
Business Expansion
The Company had expanded the NDT business to the Republic of Indonesia and would be able to recognize the revenues in the 4th quarter of 2015, faster than estimated for almost 2 quarters. Although the revenue recognition was still not so much, the trend for business growth was expanding rapidly.
