  1. TNDT

    1982

    TNDT Company Limited was founded on April 21, 1982, with initial Registered capital of Baht 1,000,000 (Baht one-million only) by a group of academics, experts, specialist engineers and technicians specializing in the various technical fields in response to the growing demands for NDT related services, especially for Engineering Inspection and Nondestructive Testing of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, piping and structure in the fields of oil refinery, power plant, petrochemical plant, ship building, offshore, bridge and building construction, and other various heavy industries.

    On August 17, 1984, the Company increased registered capital from initially Baht 1,000,000 (Baht one-million only) to Baht 2,000,000 (Baht two-million only), fully paid-up.

  3. 1989

    The Company was trusted to operate NDT testing for Thai Nippon Steel Engineering and Construction Corporation Company Limited, the contractor specialized in offshore oil rig construction for Unocal (Thailand) Company Limited. 

    Additionally, the Company established its first branch in Samutprakarn to provide service to clients in the nearby location.

  4. 1990

    The Company has relocated its headoffice from 7/1 Sukhumvit Soi 3 Nana Nua, Sukhumvit Road, Klongtoey Sub-District, Phrakanong District, Bangkok, which is a leased office space, to the current office at 19 Soi Suanson 8, Ramkamheang Road, Huamark Sub-District, Bangkapi District, Bangkok.  The main reason for relocation was to increase office space to provide better services and convenience for the clients.

  5. 1991

    The Company signed agreement with Korea Inspection and Engineering Company Limited (KIECO) to cooperate and support in NDT & Inspection activities for domestic and oversea clients.

  6. 1994

    On November 21, 1994, the Company increased registered capital from Baht 2,000,000 (Baht two-million only) to Baht 6,000,000 (Baht six-million only), fully paid-up.

  7. 1995

    The Company established its second branch at Rayong Province to provide services to clients in oil refinery, natural gas, petrochemical and other industries in Maptaphut Industrial Estates and the nearby location. The Company also established the third branch in Lankrabue District, Kampangpetch Province to provide services to oil production industry, primarily for Thai Shell Exploration and Production Co.,Ltd., which later changed its name to PTT Exploration and Production Siam Company Limited.

  8. 1999

    The Company established its fourth branch at Kaohinson District, Prachinburi Province to provide services for Vatana Phaisal Engineering Co., Ltd. and other companies in the nearby locations.

  9. 2000

    The Company established its fifth branch at Leam Chabang District, Chonburi Province to provide services for UCU Alliance (later become CUEL Company Limited), Unithai Shipyard Engineering Company Limited and other companies in the nearby locations.

    On June 8, 2000, the Company has signed MOA with a British company, formed a company “OIS (Thailand) Company Limited”, while OIS International Inspection PLC, as parent company based in the United Kingdom. The MOA has benefited to TNDT in transferring international knowledge and experience regarding advanced technology of NDT Inspection services.  Anyway, OIS (Thailand) Company Limited has ceased operation since 2015 onwards.  

  10. 2002

    On June 24, 2002, the Company increased registered capital from Baht 6,000,000 (Baht six million only) to Baht 50,000,000 (Baht fifty-million only).  The Company added 440,000 registered shares, with par value of Baht 100 a share, worth total of Baht 44,000,000 (Baht forty-four million only).  While Baht 15,400,000 (Baht fifteen million four-hundred thousand only) was paid up, total paid-up share became Baht 21,400,000 (Baht twenty-one million four-hundred thousand only). The Company increased registered capital to conform with requirement of Office of Energy Business that requires the first-class licensed juristic person must have a minimum paid-up capital of no less than Baht 20,000,000 (Baht twenty million only).

  11. 2003

    On November 26, 2003, the Company increased paid-up capital by Baht 3,740,000 (Baht three million, seven-hundred forty thousand only) from Baht 21,400,000 (Baht twenty-one million four-hundred thousand only), which make the Company’s paid-up capital to Baht 25,140,000 (Baht twenty-five million one-hundred forty thousand only) from the registered capital of Baht 50,000,000 (Baht fifty million only). The proceeds were used to expand business in office facilities and to train and develop the Company’s human resource.

  12. 2004

    On December 16, 2004, the Company has signed agreement with Thermal Power Construction Division of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand to cooperate in NDT Inspection and to provide personnel and equipment for each other as agreed in each project.  The cooperation includes both technical and academic aspects.

    On December 28, 2004, the Company increased paid-up capital by Baht 2,860,000 (Baht two-million eight-hundred sixty thousand only) from Baht 25,140,000 (Baht twenty-five million one-hundred forty thousand only), which make the Company’s paid-up capital to Baht 28,000,000 (Baht twenty-eight million only) from the registered capital of Baht 50,000,000 (Baht fifty million only).  The proceeds were used for internal training center construction and acquire equipment for business expansion.

  13. 2005

    On May 20, 2005, the Company increased paid-up capital by Baht 2,200,000 (Baht two-million two-hundred thousand only) from Baht 28,000,000 (Baht twenty-eight million only), which make the Company’s paid-up capital to Baht 30,200,000 (Baht thirty-million two-hundred thousand only) from the registered capital of Baht 50,000,000 (Baht fifty million only). The proceeds were used to expand business and acquire enough equipment to accommodate the increasing workload.  In the same year, the Company established its sixth branch at Bangpakong District, Chasengsao Province.

  14. 2006

    On April 24, 2006, the Company increased paid-up capital by Baht 19,800,000 (Baht nineteen-million, eight-hundred thousand only) from Baht 30,200,000 (Baht thirty-million two-hundred thousand only), which make the Company’s registered capital fully paid-up at Baht 50,000,000 (Baht fifty-million only).  The proceeds were used to expand business and acquire advanced technology equipment.

    The Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting No. 9/2006, dated December 9, 2006, resolved a special resolution to change par value of the Company’s common share from Baht 100 a share to Baht 10 a share. The meeting also resolved to increase registered capital from Baht 50,000,000 (Baht fifty million only) to Baht 70,000,000 (Baht seventy million only). 

    On December 14, 2006, the Company increased paid-up capital from by Baht 50,000,000 (Baht fifty million only) to Baht 70,000,000 (Baht seventy million only), divided into 7,000,000 common shares with par value of Baht 10 a share, fully paid-up.  All new shares are allotted to existing shareholders. 

    The Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting No. 11/2006, dated December 26, 2006, resolved a special resolution to increase registered capital from Baht 70,000,000 (Baht seventy million only) to Baht 80,000,000 (Baht eighty million only), divided into 8,000,000 common shares with par value of Baht 10 a share, fully paid-up.  The additional shares are allotted to the SMEs Joint Venture Fund.

  15. 2007

    The Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting No. 2/2007, dated March 30, 2007, resolved a special resolution to increase registered capital to Baht 100,000,000 (Baht one-hundred million only) and change par value from Baht 10 a share to Baht 1 a share, making the Company’s registered capital become Baht 100,000,000, divided into 100,000,000 common shares, with paid-up capital of Baht 80,000,000 (Baht eighty-million only), divided into 80,000,000 common shares with par value of Baht 1 a share.  For the remaining 20,000,000 unpaid-up shares, the meeting resolved to sell them to the general public.  

    On April 9, 2007, the Company increased registered capital to Baht 100,000,000 (Baht one-hundred million only), divided into 100,000,000 common shares with par value of Baht 1 a share.  The Company has converted its status into public company limited. 

    On September 28, 2007, TNDT was listed the Public Company Limited in Market for Alternative Investment with full paid-up authorized capital 100,000,000 baht.

  16. 2008

    The Company invested in new branch at Mabtaput, Rayong Province by buying 4 rai 45.9 square wah. The expansion of Company’s branch was 2,500 square meters.  Moreover, the Company recognized the environmental and pollution issues, thus provided the green areas of more than 75% of the whole area.

  17. 2009

    The Company used the investment promotion privilege granted by the Board of Investment (BOI) since the third quarter of 2009 for a period of eight years.

  18. 2010

    Expansion of the branch office. 
    The construction of a new branch office at Mab Ta Put in Rayong province was completed in 2010, with approximately 3,000 square meter office spaces. 

    Expansion of Services.
    Revenues from local customers using advanced NDT services with more customers began to recognize the benefits of these technologies and demanding for AE, MFL, RBI, ET and PA, etc. 

    Expansion of Customer Base. 
    The Company arranged to extend its services to cover more customers with high growth potential in the infrastructure sector. This included contractors commissioned to build MRT tunnels, buildings and complexes, transportation and mass transit system, etc.

  19. 2011

    Expansion of Services

    - Standardization ISO 9001:2008 Standards, and was under preparation to obtain ISO17020. 

    - The Rayong branch office was officially opened for operations on January 11, 2011. 

    - Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) LTNDT Co.Ltd. , had been founded as a subsidiary company on August 15, 2011 at Bannongdaung, Sri Khotrabong, Vientiane in form of mixed enterprises.  The investment were between TNDT held 70 percent and Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR)’s company (Unrelated Person) held 30 percent of the registered capital of US 100,000 in order for the safety engineering services by means of NDT and related services  such as oil & gas tanks in Lao PDR. The company has received the BOI promotion certificate from Lao PDR for 15 years. 

    Research and Development. 
    The Company’s personnel successfully carried out research and developed the inspection equipment to reach the satisfactory standards. This minimized the cost and inspection time, leading to higher customer satisfaction and saving of foreign currency.

  20. 2012

    Expansion of Services
    1.The Company’s expansion of its advanced NDT services (Advanced Technology) were three times increased from 2011. The customers recognized more benefits of these NDT technologies and the Company’s service potential. 
    2.The Company expanded its maintenance projects for power plants, inspection service of equipment, machinery, distillery, etc. for the annual inspection periods of petrochemical customers. All these services have increased the Company’s income of the mentioned areas up to 40 percent of the past year.
    3.The Company continued to expand its inspection services.  In 2012, the Company increased 30 percent of its market share for these business areas more than in 2011. 

    Research and Development of Inspection Equipment.
    The Company continued to give support to the research and development of its personnel and resources within the organization and the educational institutions, in terms of equipment and technology to enhance the highest quality of service standards for the business expansion to local and foreign customers. 

  21. 2013

    Diversify

    - Establishment of a subsidiary, TNDT CM Co., Ltd., on October 21, 2013 in order to support the complementary businesses of coal and mineral mining in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The Company invested with Thai and Myanmar Businessmen, TNDT held 46 percent of the registered capital of Baht 25,000,0000. 

    - Public Hearing on September 14, 2013, Thai NDT Management Team and Experts had a trip to Thachileik and met with Mr. Sai Tun Yin, Electric Power and Industrial Minister and Members of Shan State, Republic of the Union of Myanmar who visited to Tachileik for the Mining and Power Plant Project. In the meeting with the Minister, Members of Shan State Parliament, Governor and Local Leaders, the discussion and public hearing were done with the local people nearby the Construction Site of Power Plant and the Mining Area. Everything ran smoothly, the project could further progress.

  22. 2014

    Diversification

    TNDT approved the joint venture with partners in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, “MKTNDT Co., LTD.”, on June 30, 2014, to operate the business of Energy and the related in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The Company invested with Min Khit Thit Mining Company Limited (“MKT”), located in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar held 45 percent and “TNDT” held 55 percent of the registered capital of 500,000,000 Kyats (approx. 28,300,000 Baht). 

    Power Plant MOU Signing On July 25th 2014, Mr. Thanun Satavuthi / Assistant Managing Director of Thai Nondestructive Testing PCL (“TNDT”), Mr. Sai Won Pan / Managing Director and Mr. Win Lwin Oo / Director of Min Khit Thit Mining Company Limited (“MKT”) and Mr. U Sao Aung Myant / Chief Minister of Shan State, Republic of the Union of Myanmar signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of 20 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant in Shan State.

    On October 14, 2014, the Company made the second public hearing (the final) on the Power Plant Construction at Shan State, Tachilek, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The Minister of Electric Power and Industrial of Shan State, Republic of the Union of Myanmar was the president in the public hearing, the same as the first hearing by the year 2013.

  23. 2015

    Diversification

    On January 27, 2015, the Company had signed the MOU, and later on  February 5th 2015, also signed the MOA with Shwe Mae La General Industries Co., Ltd (KNU KNLA/PC) at Shwe Mae La General Industries Co., Ltd ’s main office, located at Myawaddy, Kayin State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, in order to jointly develop coal resources and other minerals in the Thivakae area in Myawaddy, Kayin State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar with the approximate area of 180 kilometer squares, or 18,000 acres. The Company accelerated to study the feasibility of the project and funding sources.

    On February 19, 2015, the representatives of Thai NDT PCL. (TNDT) and the representative of Min Khit Thit Mining Company Limited (MKT), the business ally, together with the Minister of Electric Power, the Government of Taunggyi, Shan State, had signed the MOA at Tanuggyi, Shan State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar for the 20 MW Coal Power Plant.

    On June10, 2015, TNDT POWER Co., Ltd, had been founded as a subsidiary company, with the registered capital of 1,000,000 Baht in order to support the complementary business in the energy field both domestically and internationally which is according to the designated business expansion plan. TNDT held 99.97% of the registered capital as shares. 

    On August 2, 2015, a Power Purchased Agreement (PPA) had been signed with the Shan State Government under the approval of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. At that time, this was the only power purchasing concession that had been issued by the government to the private company which was the Company’s business ally. This project had been received the concession for a 20 MW Coal Power Plant for the period of 30 years and trading in Thai Baht. 

    Business Expansion

    The Company had expanded the NDT business to the Republic of Indonesia and would be able to recognize the revenues in the 4th quarter of 2015, faster than estimated for almost 2 quarters. Although the revenue recognition was still not so much, the trend for business growth was expanding rapidly.

  24. 2016

    The Company was one of the 31 companies elected to participate in the ‘Innovation Enhancing Projects’ for companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand with the support of the National Innovation Agency (NIA), Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Market for Alternative Investment and the College of Management Mahidol University. Moreover, the Company also received the award of “Innovative Organization of the year 2016” which guarantees the innovation management within the Organization. The Company is ready to support and cooperate in developing new innovations for both internal and external usages for further benefits of the Nation.

    On December 28, 2016, the implementation of the Report of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the Health Impact Assessment (HIA) had already been completely considered by the government of Tachileik and would continue to seek for the Certification of Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) later.

  25. 2017

    On November 28, 2017, the Company has been approved for the supporting fund from National Innovation Agency (NIA) under the project of “Technological transformation for financial support” which was the Government policy of promoting innovations, in the Company’s topic of “the Semi-auto powered X-ray machine for oil and gas pipeline inspection by non-destructive testing”. The Innovation was invented for more efficiency in the speed of 20 times faster than original and the machine could be operated steadily and continuously during the work which resulting in precise inspection and was able to increase safety in operations at the jobsite. In addition, the usage of electromagnetic energy to replace in some part of the radiation usage would enhance the safety of radiation effects on the operators, the related persons, and the surrounding environment as well.

    On November 17, 2017, the Company had received the Certificate of Inspection Body Accreditation Type A by TIS. 17020-2556 (ISO/IEC 17020:2012) from the Secretary General of Thai Industrial Standards Institute, Ministry of Industry. TNDT was the first NDT and Inspection Company to receive this certification. By this Certificate, the Company would enable to receive jobs widely in Overseas.

  26. 2018

    On January 2018, The Certificate of Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) for the 20 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant Project has already been approved, and the Terms of Reference (TOR) has been drafted for further selection of the construction contractors.

    On November 2018, The Company has diversified its business line to clean energy. Two Solar Rooftop projects have been implemented in the domestic.

    On December 12, 2018, The Company has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CGN Dasheng Electron Accelerator Technology Co., Ltd. to co-develop the technology and innovate the properties of Electron Beam (EB), to be a substrate for utilizing in medical, industrial, agricultural, public health, including environmental conservation and productivities creation of the Research and Development (R&D) Center in Thailand and South East Asia.

  27. 2019

    On October 10, 2019, the Company has signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in technical cooperation and supplying the electron accelerator with CGN Dasheng Electron Accelerator Technology Co., Ltd. and Advanced Sterilization (Eastern) Co., Ltd., to co-develop the technology and create innovation from the properties of Electron Beam (EB), to be a substrate for value creation of productivities in medical, industrial, agricultural, public health, including environmental conservation. The Company's area in Rayong would be learning and researching center to support the future innovation development in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), and being the first center in the Southeast Asian region (ASEAN).

  28. 2020

    Cooperation Agreement with Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT)
    TNDT has signed a Memorandum of the Cooperation Agreement (MOA) on nuclear technology utilization with the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (Public Organization) (TINT) on October 27, 2020. The purposes are for integrated work on the development of nuclear technology applications, creation of innovative, services provided, production of tools, equipment, radiation-related materials, including an electron accelerator for the benefits of various industrial sectors of Thailand, to be progressed and capable to meet the local requirements and international competition opportunities even more.
  29. 2020

    Cooperation Agreement with Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT)
